Vendée & heritage

Living in Talmont-Saint-Hilaire, on the Vendée coast, Jack Guichard has devoted much of his time to the region’s natural and historical heritage — from the dinosaur footprints of Le Veillon to the salt marshes of La Guittière and the history of the Havre du Payré.
- Les Balades de Jack — his TV3Provinces programme on the heritage of southern Vendée and the people who keep it alive.
- The coastal paths — the video series “Les sentiers du littoral”, made with Johny Lenormand.
- The estuary sentinels — volunteers who watch over the Payré estuary, a group he founded within the Groupe associatif Estuaire.
- The bumblebee observatory — recognising and counting wild bumblebees.
- The history of the Talmondais — more than 5,000 years of history.
- The talk “The Talmont coast through the ages”.
